CURRUMBIN TO BYRON BAY COURSE:
One of the most beautiful, stunning and challenging rides in Australia. The Rainbow Ride is named after the Northern Hinterland known as the Rainbow Region from Byron bay NSW.
This year celebrates the 10th Annual Rainbow Ride cycle challenge with a return to the point to point course format starting in Currumbin Queensland and finishing in Byron bay NSW (something we have never done before). The Rainbow Ride this year is supporting the Gecko in Currumbin (Gold Coast Environment non profit)

Teams of 2/3/4 or 5 to ride the complete distance together. The 5 Person Teams option is reserved for the ‘Battle of the Bike Shop Teams’. The Combined Team time is based on the accumulative team time to finish. So start training together and working on your team tactics!

Get organized. Not sure of all the Team members? Don’t sweat it, Just enter some random initials/name. You can go back into active/reg online and transfer and swap Team members name before the online close off date November 20th.

Morning from Byron bay to Currumbin and onto Tyalgum:
Riders from Byron bay and all towns/cities South. Leave your vehicle parked at the finish. Depart at 5am from Ewingsdale hall.
165k riders take this Mini Bus to Currumbin start. Fees: Rider and Bike $39
110k riders take same Mini Bus to Currumbin then onto Tyalgum start. Fees: Rider and Bike $59
Morning in Currumbin:
110k Riders from Currumbin, Gold Coast, Brisbane, and South East Queensland and all towns/cities North.
1st Option: Park at Currumbin at the Start then take the Mini bus to Tyalgum start. (and take the afternoon return bus from Byron bay returning to Currumbin. Departing Ewingsdale Hall at approx 2.30pm). Fees: Rider and Bike $59
2nd Option: Just take the Mini bus to Tyalgum start.(and organize yourself to get picked up in Byron bay) Fees: Rider and Bike $29
Afternoon from Byron bay to Currumbin

Every participant must wear a helmet, ride a safe bicycle, carry a spare/tools and obey all rules, marshals and organizers instructions. Medical personnel will be on hand for rider support. We count on you to ride in a safe manner. Riders are responsible for their own Insurance/medical coverage.
Musashi Smoothie Recovery Drink Lunch/race numbers:
All entered riders receive a Musashi Protein/Carb Recovery Smoothie drink as part of your entry, available from when you finish. Your RIDE NUMBER is your Drink ticket to be returned. (We re-use them, thanks).
